5th April, D9009 and 55019 went to the Midland Railway Center for their diesel gala. For pictures just click here
12th April, D9016 does the - tour but on return gets towed back by 47 799 due to mechanical failures. New pictures here
17th May, D9009 does a tour from Ashford to Newcastle and return. For pictures just click here
7th June, 55019 did a tour from Newcastle to Kings cross and return. For pictures just click here
21st June, D9009 and 55019 went light engine from Barrow Hill to Carnforth. New pictures here
22th June, D9009 and 55019 started the "Freedom of Scotland" tour and finnished on the 25 June.
7th July, D9009 was found with a fault in power unit 1.
26th and 27th July, D9009, D9016 and 55019 appeared at Doncaster works open day, D9016 was not orginally booked to go but it took the Queen of Scots coaching stock to Doncaster and was put on display due to it being their. For pictures just click here
14th August, D9016 goes to Toton for its new livery of two tone green. New pictures here
25th August, D9016 appears in its new livery of two tone green.
13th September, 55019 picked up DP1 from the NRM, it also brought with it to Barrow Hill D8000 , D6700 and D200. For pictures just click here
20th September, DPS has its opening of its new shed at Barrow Hill. For pictures just click here
24th September, D9016 leaves Toton and picks up 50002 from Barrow Hill. It then went to Totnes and droped off 50002. D9016 then went to Yeovil where it temporally stayed. New pictures here
15 October, DP1 was taken back to NRM by 55019. Also other NRM locomotive was taken back as well except D6700 which had an accident while at Barrow Hills first born gala.

3rd December, The DPS announces their 2004 Engineering Plan.
11th December, the DPS Engineering Plan was put into action with body repairs being started on 55019.
